Tignes
2nd highest ski resort in Europe
Tignes is a dependable winter location with guaranteed snow from the end of November until the beginning of May. A fantastic resort for early or late season skiing as 60% of the pistes are over 2,200m. The Grande Motte glacier provides 20km of runs over 3000m high.

Perfect for families
Happy kids, Happy parents! Tignes has many great English speaking ski schools and child care services to allow you to enjoy your time on the slopes. There is a village style learning area in the centre of the resort with free lifts. Off the snow there are family activities galore including the swimming pool with a cave and water slide + spa facilities for the grown ups!
The aprés scene
Tignes definitely knows how to party. With access to the the famous La Folie Douce for the ultimate on-mountain-party. Cocorico has opened a new venue this season in Val Claret so expect live bands and dancing on tables. Tignes parties until the early hours and there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from.
Freeride paradise
With 75 speedy lifts and over 300km of pisted runs, the Tignes and Val D'Isere ski area provides plenty of top quality skiing for all abilities. However, with 80% of the area classified off-piste, it also offers a lot for those that want to head off the beaten track. Tignes has also created 10 “Naturides” for off-piste novices - these safe, unmarked, black runs are ungroomed, the perfect place to try for the first time.
Activities galore
Tignes must be the most action-packed resort in the Alps. Bung-J ride, Microlight flights, Ice diving just to name a few. There is also a state of the art sports centre with a professional gym, climbing wall, squash courts and swimming pool featuring a waterslide and a cave. For the non-skiers, how about lunch at 3000m, the funicular whisks you up 1000m in just 6 minutes and you can dine in the best restaurant in the resort- Le Panoramic.

Val D'Isere is a snow sure location with guaranteed snow from the end of November until the beginning of May. A fantastic resort for early or late season skiing as 60% of the pistes are over 2,200m. Plus it has an impressive network of over 900 snow canons to ensure top quality pistes into the resorts.

ultimate aprés
In Val D'Isere you are spoilt for choice when it comes to aprés ski. For the hard core, dancing on the tables is a must at the famous Folie Douce. Don't miss their Cabaret show on a Friday afternoon. Our favourite is Cocorico at the bottom of the Solaise which can host equally lively parties with live bands. After dinner you can party until the early hours with the DJ's at Dicks Tea Bar or Doudoune.
Freeride Kilometres of skiing
With 96 speedy lifts and over 300km of pisted runs, the Espace Killy are provides top quality skiing for all abilities. With brand new state of the art learning areas,2 snowparks and plenty of off piste terrain for the thrill seekers. Perhaps challenge yourself on the infamous 'La Face' black run that runs at a very steep angle from the top of the Olympic lift, 3 kms into town.
For the non-skiers
Val D offers plenty of activities to keep the non-skiers busy. Whether it's a mountain top lunch at our favourite restaurant Le Signal or an afternoon hitting the many boutiques on the high street. For the more adventurous why not take a winter walk up the beautiful Manchet valley, or try some dog sledding! After a busy day relax in the comfort of your chalet with a massage from one of our recommended therapists.
